Which style hardware should I choose?
This shop offers three types of hardware – nickel plated, black metal and solid brass. Please be aware that solid brass is the best option for salt water (or constant water use). Although solid brass is a little moreexpensive, it will hold up best and is worth the extra money. Plastic hardware is also available on our adjustable collars and it is safe for salt water too!
What is Biothane®?
According to the Biothane® website - "BioThane® is the brand name of all coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. It’s basically a polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean and weldable.”
Why is BioThane® better than leather?
According to the BioThane® website - BioThane® is more durable, cleanable, stronger and easier to maintain. It is also readily available in different colors.
Is BioThane® made in the USA?
Yes, BioThane® is manufactured in a plant located in North Ridgeville, Ohio in the USA.
How do I clean the material?
Wash with warm water and soap. You can also use a little rubbing alcohol.

Every product leaves our shop is pristine condition. Once a product leaves our shop, we are not responsible for damage to your product. Please know that no collar or leash is 100% indestructible. Please check your product regularly for wear and tear and replace when needed.
Does the material hold in smell if it gets wet?
No, BioThane® is stinkproof!
How do I measure my dogs neck for a collar?
Please carefully measure your dogs neck for the collar length. When ordering your collar, please tell us your dogs neck size and age. Each collar has 4 holes, each spaced an inch apart. We want to make sure that the collar is going to fit just right! There are step by step photo instructions with each collar listing. If you need help measuring please reach out!
