Hi there! I’m Macy, the creator behind Leashes in a Jiffy!

Leashes in a Jiffy is a small business run in Cleveland, Ohio. My yellow lab, Jiffy, is the inspiration for the shop name. Together with my two German Shepherds - Nikita and Lu, they helped me come up with the idea of selling BioThane® collars and leashes for other dogs who like to play in the mud and water.

As a hobby, I raise guide dog puppies for a non profit guide dog school. One of my favorite leashes to use with my pups was my leather adjustable leash. I wanted the same style but made of BioThane®. When I could not find it, I decided to make it myself.

The business started with one product and has continued to expand one product and color at a time.
